Gjipe beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Ionian Sea, is located in the south part of Albania, near the village of Dhërmi, and it is a very popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. How to get there
Going to Gjipe is relatively easy. From Tirana, you need to go to Vlora. Once you arrive in Vlora, you will need to go up to Llogora pass, where the views of the Ionian Sea are amazing. The distance between the Llogora pass and Gjipe is around 22 km. You will go through the village of Dhërmi where you can find supermarkets to buy food and drinks. 4.5 after Dhërmi you will see a sign to turn right to Gjipe. You need to follow the road which is around 2.6 km to a Monastery. There you can park the car, because from there to the beach the road is unpaved and you can go to the beach, only with 4×4 cars. The distance between the Monastery and the beach is around 1.5 km. Walking there is amazing, where you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Ionian.

There you can climb in a very beautiful Canyon which is called Gjipe Canyon, you can swim in clear blue water of the sea, and you can camp under the sky full of stars.
