10. Famous Valbona to Theth trail
Valbona to Theth (Valbona Theth) is among the most beautiful and popular hikes in the Accursed Mountains (Prokletije). During this hike, you will enjoy the view of the Valbona Valley and then Theth Valley. If you plan this hike, you will meet many outdoor enthusiasts worldwide. The highest peak of this trail is Qafa e Valbones (1’795 m/alt), where the view from there is majestic.

8. Lake Bovilla, fantastic view from Gamti mountain
Lake Bovilla (Bovilla reservoir) is one of Albania’s most remarkable hidden gems. This reservoir provides most of the drinking water for the capital of Albania, Tirana. Located around 15 km from the capital of Albania, Tirana makes the place very reachable. You can go there for a picnic, or if you want more adventures, you can hike to the Gamti mountain where the view of Bovilla Lake is fantastic.

7. Maja e Qorres, wild mountains, and heaven shorelines
Maja e Qorres is a high mountain peak in southern Albania; the hill has an altitude of 2018 meters and is the second highest peak of the Ceraunian Mountains, after Çika peak.
What makes this mountain very special is that it is located near the Ionian Sea, and the views of this sea from the Maja e Qorres Mountain are stunning. At the highest point of this mountain, you will be rewarded with a superb view: wild mountains and heaven shorelines extending along the Ionian coast. Read more: Maja e Qorres
6. Maja e Rosit 360 degrees views along the trail
Maja e Rosit (Rosni Vrh) is the 15th-highest peak of the Accursed Mountains (Prokletije). It is also called “Maja e Roshit” and “Rosni Peak.” It’s a perfect hiking peak located on the border between Albania and Montenegro. During the hike, you can see and enjoy the view of Valbona Valley, Maja e Thate Peak, Maja Jezerca Peak, Karanfilat range of mountains, Vajusha Peak, etc. So, the idea during the hike is 360 degrees and magical.

Maja Jezercë, the highest peak of Prokletije (the Accursed Mountains), is also known as the “Queen of the Alps.” With an elevation of 2694 m/alt. Amazing views during the path! Reaching the summit of Maja Jezerce is an unforgettable adventure, but it’s not for the faint-hearted.

4. Jezerca Lakes from Valbona, a challenging off-trail hike
Jezerca Lakes (also called Buni I Jezercës) is a unique outdoor destination near the highest peak of the Accursed Mountains (Prokletije), Maja Jezercë. The easiest way to go to the lakes is from Vusanje in Montenegro. But, if you want an off-trail adventure, you should try going from Valbona Valley National Park in Albania.

3. Kalabak Peak, a fairytale hike along the colorful trail
Kalabak peak trail is part of the Sharr Mountains and High Scardus Trail, one of the most beautiful and colorful hikes. Located right on the border between Kosovo and Albania, this trail links the village of Shishtavec and Caje in Albania. It is about 2200 years old, and during the Roman Empire, it was called Scardus. The name Scardus comes from Latin, which means colorful.

2. Grama Bay and Shën Andre Bay – the heaven on Earth
Grama Bay and Shën Andre Bay are the most beautiful outdoor destinations ever. Located in an unexplored part of Albania, the Bays remain a virgin. Hiking from Palasë to Shen Andre first, and then to Grama Bay, is one of the most beautiful hikes in southern Albania.

1. Hiking from Lepushe up to Talijakna Peak
Lëpushë is a small village in Northern Albania, the border between Albania and Montenegro. It is part of the Kelmend region in Shkodër County. Lëpushë is well known for its beautiful nature, great destination, and strategic point for hiking trails.
