About the Jurmala Beach and Kemeri National Park

Jurmala Beach is a beautiful place in Latvia that you shouldn’t miss. It has miles of white-sand beach, pine trees, fresh air, and a calming atmosphere. You can visit during the summer days or even the cold winter days. I went there during winter when the temperature was around -10°C, and although the Baltic Sea was icy, it was an incredible adventure.

Kemeri National Park is a remarkable forest-covered area. It features several lakes, making it a great place for adventure. You can take a walk through the forest, then head to the Kemeri boardwalk and climb the tower to see The Great Kemeri Bog. The sunrise or sunset is the best time to take amazing pictures. You’ll also encounter different flora and fauna here, such as moss, lichen, fungi, and various bird species.

Don’t forget to bring at least a liter of water because there are no water sources in the park.
